Our Staff

Arthur Chung - President

Arthur established the firm in 2008. Prior to establishing the firm, Arthur attended Korea Maritime University at Busan, South Korea. He then attended The University of Florida at Gainesville Florida. He was enrolled in the university’s Fisher School of Accounting, which is recognized as a prestigious program that ranks in the top 5 among U.S. public undergraduate programs.

After graduating from The University of Florida, Arthur moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he worked for Kenny Lee Accountancy, Inc. as a staff accountant. He then proceeded to further his horizons and earned his Real Estate Salesperson certificate. Afterwards, he worked for Keller Williams Realty as a commercial agent. However, Arthur’s true passion was for accounting, thus he established C1, LLC at Duluth, Georgia.

Arthur has experience preparing countless business and personal tax returns. With his capabilities, insight, and reliability, he has been able to efficiently and effectively help clients establish small businesses, as well as representing numerous businesses in resolving tax and business issues.

As a resident of Georgia, Arthur enjoys serving the community as a member of The Korean American Association of Greater Atlanta. In his spare time, he enjoys playing softball, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Inkyung Kim - Manager

Inkyung started with the firm in 2010. She has been able to work in all departments with great diligence, which led to her position as manager. As the manager of the firm, Inkyung oversees all departments, especially Payroll and Sales Tax. Prior to working for the firm, Inkyung attended Sookmyung Women’s High School. She then went on to attend Sungshin Women’s University. After graduating, Inkyung got married in 2002 and moved to Georgia, where she and her family happily reside.

Inkyung worked for Kenny Lee Accountancy, Inc. as a staff accountant for numerous years, prior to working for C1, LLC. With over 10 years of experience in various accounting departments, Inkyung is recognized as a trustworthy and reliable member of the firm and helpful source to the clients. Her hard work and diligence has helped clients reach their business and financial goals as well as creating an efficient and effective work atmosphere for the firm.

In her spare time, Inkyung enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, cooking, and camping.

Hyeseon Suen - Payroll & Business Licensing Specialist

Hyeseon started with the firm in 2010. Her attention to detail has played a key role in the firm’s payroll and business license department, which she oversees. Hyeseon is responsible for timely and accurate completion of all tasks in regards to payroll and business licenses, and her communication skills have greatly met client needs. Her keen eye and willingness to help clients has gone above and beyond her expertise, and even contributed in organizing a more creative and pleasant office environment.

Perhaps her abilities and management skills come from her previous experience in owning several businesses, such as: a cellular store, stationary store, picture studio, and a Chinese restaurant in which she performed many duties that included: accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory control, and hiring/training employees. Also, prior to joining the firm, Hyeseon graduated from The University of Han Yang - College of Music at Seoul, Korea with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Violin. She also completed the University of Georgia - Athens, Georgia International Language Program. On top of that, Hyeseon also completed the University of Georgia - Lawrenceville, Georgia Center, Center for Continuing Education Korea/English Medical Interpreter Course.

With her educational accomplishments, Hyeseon teaches music lessons, as well as math and language arts. In her spare time, Hyeseon enjoys participating and serving at the Korean Community Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, spending time with family, listening to music, and reading.

Jong Il Choi - Staff Accountant

Jong Il has been with the firm since 2013. Jong Il earned his Master of Accountancy Taxation degree at The University of Georgia - Athens, Georgia in 2015. On top of his degree, Jong Il has five years’ worth of experience in tax preparation as well as bookkeeping. With his skills and knowledge, Jong Il has been able to help clients reduce their tax abilities and increase their bottom line. His attention to detail and swiftness has greatly contributed to the firm’s work flow and client satisfaction.

Additionally, Jong Il has accounting and leadership experience from various accounting projects, such as, Data Management, Business Project Management, and Accounting Information System. These projects have enabled him to gain leadership and utilize his accounting knowledge and skills to analyze business processes and provide solutions. Jong Il’s computer skills have also attributed to the firms convenient, yet efficient work environment. As a recent graduate of The University of Georgia - Athens, Georgia, Jong Il has left his mark at the university with his leadership and communication skills.

As an active member of The Undergraduate Korean Intermediaries, he started out as the Leisure Department Head, where he enhanced communication between members through various activities. That commitment led him to eventually become president of the organization until it was time for him to graduate. In his spare time, Jong Il enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and playing the piano. He even serves as the collaborative pianist for Jesus Hope Church and Servant Korean Evangelical Church.

Welsey Kim - Staff Accountant

Wesley started with the firm in 2014. He graduated from Georgia State University, earning his degree in Accounting. Wesley has been able to utilize his education and experience in contributing to the firm’s efficient work atmosphere. His attention to detail has enabled him to diligently keep up with bookkeeping and tax preparation.

Wesley also led many of the staff meetings, where he was able to demonstrate his insight in accounting and helped other members of the staff understand information on accounting and taxation. Wesley has also shown his commitment and proven that he is a team player, as he always steps up to help the office team complete accounting and bookkeeping needs to meet client satisfaction.

Prior to joining the firm, Wesley graduated from Pope High School in Marietta, Georgia. In his spare time, Wesley enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering as a Sunday School Teacher at his church, and hiking.

Lisa Kim - Staff Accountant

Lisa joined the firm in 2014. Lisa is responsible for the firm’s administrative tasks and contributes to help the team complete the firm’s accounting and bookkeeping needs. Prior to joining the firm, Lisa graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English - Language and Literature.

She was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina before moving to Suwanee, Georgia. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys traveling, writing, and visiting restaurants and cafes to meet her interest in food and coffee.
